Grc-Por-DigDict - Greek-Portuguese Digital Dictionary

Projeto indicado no Currículo Lattes: Este é um subprojeto dentro do projeto guarda-chuva Projetos abertos em Letras Clássicas Digitais - FCLAr/UNESP (School of Humanities and Sciences at São Paulo State University in Araraquara). Para que o dicionário grego-português possa ser utilizado em aplicativos e serviços web vinculados a diversos portais ligados a estudos clássicos e diferentes projetos, deve estar etiquetado adequadamente e em compatibilidade com Text Encoding Initiative versão 5 e em formato XML. O projeto conta com a colaboração da equipe do Projeto Perseus/Perseids ligado a Tufts University e Alexander von Humboldt Chair in Digital Humanities of the University of Leipzig, recebendo sugestões técnicas de Bridget Almas, Timothy Buckingham e de Monica Berti, além de participar do consórcio Sunoikisis Digital Classics. Na FCL-Ar, conta com apoio voluntário de Rubens Antônio Rodrigues na elaboração do etiquetador automático e da interface de busca. Está disponível para consulta em versão e estágio preliminar: http://perseidas.fclar.unesp.br. O corpus do DDGP é o Dicionário Grego-Português originalmente elaborado em edição impressa em cinco volumes (2005-2010, ed. Ateliê) e que agora tem um desenvolvimento paralelo para ser compartilhado em serviços web.

OBS. Os arquivos atuais tem o conteúdo etiquetado com as etiquetas entryFree e def, e as etiquetas de metadados podem estar incompletos ou com incorreções. Para ver as metas previstas de desenvolvimento, ler abaixo.

O Dicionário Digital Grego-Português (DDGP) é uma proposta de criação de uma edição digital anotada do Dicionário Grego-Português, originalmente publicado em formato impresso, entre 2006-2010, em 5 volumes, elaborado sob coordenação de M. Celeste C. Dezotti, D. Malhadas e M. Helena M. Neves, da FCLAr/UNESP, com autores das universidades: USP, UFMG, UFRJ e UFF. Sob licença Creative Commons Atribuição-NãoCommercial-CompartilhaIgual 4.0 International, a edição digital prevê uma atualização contínua e adaptada para consulta em web e outros dispositivos digitais. Para tal, as anotações são feitas no padrão TEI-XML para identificação dos componentes dos verbetes, com os seguintes objetivos intermediários de longo prazo: a) seleção de etiquetas TEI-XML para: metadados, etimologia; autores citados; fontes dos exemplos (obras e citações); elementos gramaticais e contexto; idioma e acepções em português visando a uma consulta reversa; b) etiquetagem automática; c) melhoria da eficiência do buscador e conversão das entradas, para consulta por transliteração, código beta e letras gregas sem diacríticos; d) inclusão de folha de estilos para distinção dos elementos; e) interface para dispositivos móveis; e f) a interligação com serviços e ferramentas de edição, tradução e anotação de corpus, por protocolos de intercâmbio de informações. A versão digital pressupõe uma equipe com pesquisadores da área de grego e da computação em atuação conjunta, para elaboração e testes de algoritmos de etiquetagem automática, recuperação dos dados e implementação em ambientes digitais, promovendo o desenvolvimento de projetos em clássicas e humanas digitais. The objective of the Greek-Portuguese Digital Dictionary (DDGP) project is to create a digital annotated edition of the Greek-Portuguese Dictionary, originally published in print format (2006-2010), in 5 volumes, prepared under the coordination of M. Celeste C. Dezotti , D. Malhadas and M. Helena M. Neves, from FCLAr / UNESP, with authors from the universities: USP, UFMG, UFRJ and UFF. Under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license, the digital edition is to be continuously updated and adapted for queries on the web and other digital devices. To do this, the annotations follow the TEI-XML standard to identify the entry elements, and the intermediate objectives in the long run are: a) selection of TEI-XML tags for: metadata; etymology; cited authors; sources of examples (works and quotations); grammatical elements and context; language and meanings in Portuguese for a reverse query; b) automatic tagging; c) improvement of the efficiency of the search engine and conversion of the entries, for consultation by transliteration, beta code and Greek letters without diacritics; d) inclusion of stylesheet to distinguish the elements; e) interface for mobile devices; and f) linking data with services and tools for corpus translation, annotation and editing texts, by means of protocols for information exchange. The digital version requires a team of researchers from both areas, Greek and computation, working together to elaborate and to test the algorithms for automatic tagger, data retrieval and implementation in digital environments, promoting the development of projects in digital classics and humanities.
